**HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT**

* Shape and evolve the network reference architecture for Stadler's CBTC and Interlocking solutions, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable communication infrastructures.

* Drive innovation and architectural improvements across wired and wireless networking, virtualization, network automation, and cybersecurity domains.

* Lead and support system integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with operational and performance requirements.

* Collaborate with project teams worldwide to tailor and implement reference architectures for customer-specific deployments.

* Act as a technical expert for network-related troubleshooting and operational support.

* Contribute to supplier assessment, technology evaluation, and strategic vendor selection activities.

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE**

* Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, with a strong focus on wired networking technologies (Layer 2 and Layer 3).

* Solid expertise in network troubleshooting, communication systems, and modern networking principles, practices, and technologies.

* Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware), firewalls, network management systems, and network configuration and administration.

* Knowledge of wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G); experience in radio design and planning is considered a strong advantage.

* Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible and Python, to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

* Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
