You enjoy solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and seeing projects through from assessment and design to implementation and validation.

About The Role

As a Mid-Level Wireless Network Engineer within our Professional Services team, you will help design, deploy, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise wireless environments across a variety of customer environments. You will perform wireless surveys and RF analysis, support WLAN implementations, and create the technical documentation required to deliver high-quality customer solutions.

Working alongside Senior Wireless Engineers, Technical Project Leads, Project Managers, and Delivery Operations, you will gain exposure to complex enterprise mobility environments while progressively taking greater ownership of customer engagements.

This role directly impacts customer experience, technical delivery quality, and the continued growth of Myriad360 's Enterprise Mobility practice. You will have opportunities to expand your RF expertise, develop experience across multiple wireless platforms, and grow toward independent project and technical leadership.

This position requires travel to customer locations for wireless surveys, implementations, and other project activities, including occasional after-hours maintenance windows.

Must be based in the United States.

Other responsibilities include

Wireless Surveys & RF Analysis

Perform predictive, passive, active, and validation wireless surveys using Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Sidekick

Assist with enterprise WLAN assessments, RF analysis, wireless design, troubleshooting, and optimization

Analyze wireless coverage, capacity, interference, channel utilization, and other RF performance factors

Validate wireless designs against customer requirements and real-world environmental conditions

Identify potential RF issues and recommend appropriate design or configuration adjustments

Produce professional wireless survey reports and customer-ready findings

Wireless Design & Implementation

Assist with the design and implementation of enterprise wireless solutions

Stage, configure, install, and validate wireless access points, controllers, switches, and supporting infrastructure

Support wireless migrations, refreshes, expansions, and modernization projects

Validate access point placement and installation against approved wireless designs

Assist with WLAN security, authentication, roaming, and connectivity configurations

Participate in implementation activities, maintenance windows, and post-deployment validation

Troubleshooting & Optimization

Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, coverage, capacity, roaming, interference, and performance issues

Use RF analysis and wireless diagnostic tools to identify root causes and recommend remediation

Assist with post-deployment optimization and validation

Collaborate with senior engineers and vendor support organizations to resolve complex technical issues

Document findings, corrective actions, and lessons learned

Documentation & Customer Engagement

Create survey reports, design documentation, implementation notes, and as-built deliverables

Participate in customer discovery meetings, technical discussions, project reviews, and knowledge-transfer sessions

Communicate project status, technical findings, and potential risks clearly to project teams

Maintain accurate documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle

Represent Myriad360 professionally during customer engagements and onsite activities

Practice Development & Continuous Improvement

Partner with Senior Wireless Engineers and Technical Project Leads to develop technical expertise and delivery capabilities

Contribute lessons learned, reusable documentation, templates, and technical standards to the Enterprise Mobility practice

Stay current on evolving Wi-Fi standards, wireless technologies, tools, and industry best practices

Pursue relevant technical training and certifications

Share knowledge with peers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture

Desired skills and experience

3–5 years of experience in enterprise wireless networking, WLAN engineering, network engineering, wireless consulting, or a related field

Hands-on experience using Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Sidekick for predictive design and onsite wireless surveys

Working knowledge of RF fundamentals and IEEE 802.11 wireless networking technologies

Understanding of WLAN security, authentication, roaming, interference, capacity, and troubleshooting concepts

Experience with one or more enterprise wireless platforms such as Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper Mist, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Extreme, or similar technologies

Experience staging, configuring, deploying, or troubleshooting enterprise wireless infrastructure

Strong technical documentation and reporting skills

Excellent written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities

Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations for surveys and deployments

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

CWNA, CWSP, CWDP, or active progress within the CWNP certification track

Ekahau ECSE Design, ECSE Advanced, or related Ekahau certification

Cisco, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Meraki, Ruckus, Extreme, or other relevant vendor certifications

Experience working within a Professional Services, Systems Integrator, VAR, Managed Services, or consulting organization

Experience supporting multi-site enterprise wireless deployments

Prior experience traveling domestically for customer implementations and wireless surveys
