Job Description
Olsson’s Facility Engineering and Design Team is recognized for delivering innovative solutions on technically complex, large-scale projects across diverse industries—including commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations. Our work demands precision, creativity, and collaboration to achieve world-class results.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be a technical leader and strategic partner, driving excellence in design and execution for projects that shape communities and industries. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals who combine deep technical expertise with leadership and mentoring skills.
What you’ll do
Lead Complex Projects: Serve as the primary engineer on large, multi-disciplinary projects with advanced technical requirements.
Set Quality Standards: Develop and enforce rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure flawless deliverables.
Mentor and Elevate: Provide technical guidance and training to engineers, fostering growth and innovation within the team.
Strategic Oversight: Organize technical resources, review contracts, and guide design strategies to meet project goals.
Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Drive Efficiency: Champion best practices for project execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met without compromising quality.

You bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with proven success on complex building systems and multi-industry projects.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Expertise in HVAC design for vertical infrastructure (healthcare, labs, mission-critical facilities).
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
