IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INET)

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and cross-organizational working groups in the implementation of knowledge management initiatives that align people, processes, and tools across the organization.

You will formulate a vision for the future applications of internet services to meet agency requirements and develop policy and processes.

You will develop and maintain MSC knowledge management strategy to encompass all aspects of people and processes enabled by technology in order to make better and faster decisions.

You will develop and implement command internet and intranet knowledge management policies.

You will review and integrate new SharePoint web pages, direct on-going maintenance and the enhancement efforts in the coordination of US Fleet Forces.

GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Experience participating in command level meetings with senior leadership and developing and recommending improvements to ensure MSC knowledge management program requirements are met.

Experience participating in strategic communication programs and taking lead roles to support and develop needed user interface tangible inputs such as workflows, webpages, and forms.

Experience developing SharePoint online lists, libraries, pages; Power Apps, Power Automate, or custom solutions utilizing JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience formulating visions for future applications of internet services to meet agency requirements and developing policies and processes for the knowledge content across MSC operations including websites, internet portals, and SharePoint online portal (cloud and internet).

Experience developing and maintaining internet and cloud portal permissions architectures and ensuring the appropriate security measures.

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Experience providing end-user tier I and tier II support for MSC customers to include trouble shooting of cloud webpages, web parts, automation workflows, permissions, and other front end complex issues requiring extensive research due to emerging cloud technologies.

Experience analyzing data, researching, experimenting methods, and statistical analyses to conduct various advanced analytical works and studies. Experience planning, designing, testing, implementing, and managing internal SharePoint portal websites to optimize communication with relevant customers.

Experience developing and maintaining MSC knowledge management strategies to encompass aspects of people and processes that enable technology to make better, faster decisions. -AND- Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
