IT Specialist (DATAMGT/APPSW)

Serves as the primary technical data expert responsible for designing, building, and automating the data infrastructure required to modernize DoW’s logistics data standards.

Transforms strategic visions into functional, data-driven products by developing robust data pipelines, modernizing knowledge bases, and implementing automation to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

Designs, develops, and maintains secure, modern APIs and data interfaces, enforcing strict exchange standards and protocols to ensure seamless, real-time interoperability across systems.

Engineers and manages ETL pipelines to support internal analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives, ensuring data on partner data exchange, compliance, and performance is clean, structured, and readily available.

Develops, tests, and deploys scripts and modern database architecture to replace legacy document-based processes with modern, scalable knowledge bases.

Leads the piloting, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions, document automation tools, and internal collaborative workspaces.

To qualify for a Data Analyst (DATAMGT/APPSW), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.

To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.

To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
