The posting
Leads development or modification of internet-related systems, tools, and software used to benefit Risk Management Supervision (RMS) programs and operations with significant impact across the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Builds and maintains websites for a variety of purposes including sharing information with industry partners, hosting content for FDIC and/or industry outreach events, or sharing internal information (RMS and across divisions).
Provides advice and guidance on and conducts website design and maintenance for RMS projects and communications utilizing internet-related systems and software, including guidance on internet security and internet/intranet content policies.
Tests the product, or service to ensure adherence to requirements and that methods are suitable for RMS programs and end users. Creates and delivers job aids or training as needed for new and existing staff members and internet end users for systems.
Develops and maintains policy and guidance for new or modified RMS internet-related systems, tools, and software. Reviews internet content and establishes parameters and schedules for content removal. Ensures webcontent is compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Qualifying experience is credited from private and public sectors, including paid and unpaid service (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps). Volunteer service builds competencies that translate to paid work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience. See OPM's General Schedule Qualification Standards for details.
Basic Qualifications (2210): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience and competency requirements for the GS/CG-14 position. AND CG-14: Applicants must complete one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-13 level or above in Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience as a lead designer, developer, tester, and maintenance manager of internet-related systems, web-based tools, and related software; developing and applying policy, procedures, and guidance for systems, tools, and software; and project management, including data migration across legacy systems.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) eligible applicants must earn 80 or higher on the online assessment to be determined "well qualified."
