We're looking for a Support Engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, working directly with clients, and continuously expanding their knowledge. Position: Support Engineer Location: Remote Department: Service Delivery Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (New York) What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll provide technical support to a variety of business clients while ensuring an excellent customer experience. Your responsibilities include:
Diagnose and resolve issues involving Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, servers, networking, and business applications.
Manage and prioritize incoming support requests while maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the resolution process.
Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with senior engineers when additional expertise is needed.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms.
Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, wireless networks, switches, VPNs, and VoIP solutions.
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures to improve internal knowledge sharing.
Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary to resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
Participate in team meetings, technical training sessions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Deliver professional, friendly, and timely support that helps clients stay productive.
What We're Looking For You'll be successful in this role if you have:
Experience supporting Windows environments in a professional IT setting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V.
Experience troubleshooting networking technologies including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and TCP/IP.
Familiarity with Remote Desktop, remote support tools, and remote application technologies.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
The ability to prioritize multiple requests while remaining organized under pressure.
A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
