The posting

You will perform all facets of relational database administration to design, integrate, secure, and sustain a enterprise data management environment.

You will manage multiple production, staging, training, and test database instances to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

You will install, configure, patch, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS), maintaining compliance with all applicable security and regulatory requirements.

You will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive database security controls and procedures to protect enterprise data assets from unauthorized access, intrusion, and data spillage.

You will serve as a technical advisor to leadership, functional teams, and program managers on database performance, enhancements, automation, and troubleshooting.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience administering enterprise Oracle databases and AWS cloud database environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) Relational Database Service (RDS) or Azure SQL Database.

Experience managing full-lifecycle enterprise database infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patch management, and strict security compliance. Experience optimizing database operations through proactive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and robust backup and recovery strategies.

Experience supporting complex enterprise systems to ensure maximum integrity, availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical HR data systems.
