HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS)

You will provide overall advice and assistance on management-employee relations, discipline, adverse actions, grievances, performance management and recognition, employee counseling, and related functions.

You will administer the employee appraisal and awards programs to include a comprehensive annual and ongoing evaluation of programs.

You will administer the work/life Human Resources programs for assigned organizations.

You will evaluate programs for compliance with policy, and processes actions in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for reporting and answering data calls to Human Resources Director.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Independently advises management on complex, high-risk conduct issues by evaluating mitigating, aggravating circumstances to recommend consistent, defensible penalties AND administering complex leave programs, resolving high-conflict workplace disputes through advanced analysis/negotiation.
