Rate of Pay: $131,000 to $160,000 per Year

What you'll do

Support the establishment and maintenance of an effective safety program for AV fleet operators and partners.

Support the development and execution of a safety program for AV fleet operations.

Assure that the infrastructure, operations, and processes comply with safety-related regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal safety standards.

Support internal stakeholders and external partners on SMS best practices.

Execute and support operational safety programs specific to vehicle operator use.

Manage safety programs from inception to operation while meeting strategic objectives.

Engage AV partners on Safety Assurance and Risk Management activities.

May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering (Any), or related field, and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. OR employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires: Supporting the implementation and management of safety management programs in a transportation sector;

Safety operations;

Risk assessments and mitigations;

Incident response;

Project management;

Supporting or executing safety programs related to operational activities in the ride-hail / transportation industry;

SMS frameworks;

Performing data analysis and statistical analysis of operational safety data to generate safety performance indicators.
