The posting
You will develop and implement financial management plans, procedures, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to facilitate accomplishment of the organization's mission.
You will recommend the adoption or implementation of, and implements new and revised financial management concepts, procedures, and strategies in support of the organization's programs.
You will direct and/or performs program execution reviews, analyses, and appraisals of the various major operating and support programs within the organization and with external stakeholders.
You will conduct research for the development of top-level budget summaries during each budget cycle outlining major changes and tracking current and future capabilities.
You will develop format and content to provide managers with a number of listings, reports, and data relative to status of funds and obligations.
You will review and oversee the financial integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of information contained in accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
You will conduct evaluation and analysis of financial-related issues elevated by audit reports, budget reviews, etc.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NH-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing financial management by overseeing budget planning, execution, and/or spend plan analysis for organizational programs (e.g. N-ERP, PBIS, and COBRA) to manage and report on program funding.
