This role sits at the center of a public-company legal function. You will have regular exposure to privileged, confidential, pre-public, and material non-public information, and discretion is a core requirement of the job.
Main responsibilities
Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling for the General Counsel and key legal staff, coordinating across multiple time zones
Support the General Counsel in his capacity as Corporate Secretary, including logistics for Board and committee meetings, coordinating distribution of materials, supporting Board requests, and helping maintain corporate records and calendars
Handle travel booking and expense reporting
Track deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups against the General Counsel's objectives across the Legal team's functional areas
Plan and coordinate departmental events (all-hands meetings, team events, offsites)
Manage unscheduled requests with attention to detail, efficiency, and quality
Perform confidential and complex administrative duties, including preparing and formatting documents
Assist with project coordination and management, new hire onboarding tasks, and other team duties as identified
WHO YOU ARE
Strong experience supporting a senior executive in a fast-paced environment
Fluent written and verbal English fluency, with exceptional communication skills
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. This role is subject to Braze's insider trading policy and related compliance obligations
Experience leading projects, developing scope, managing schedules, and following up with stakeholders appropriately
Familiarity with productivity and project management tools, and with corporate travel and expense platforms (e.g., Navan, Concur)
Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of personal accountability
You excel at cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless and effective communication
You have a proven track record of success, and are proactive and reliable
Nice to have
Prior experience supporting a legal, compliance, or corporate secretary function
Prior experience at a publicly traded company
