The duties and responsibilities for a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify short-term policies and programs and provides recommendations to senior policy officials. Collect and analyze pertinent data to establish policy issues and/or problems.

Circulate policy clearance documents to relevant components/offices. Collaborate with internal and external components and offices. Provide guidance concerning program-related or administrative policies for application to internal program issues.

Serves as a liaison between the Executive Records and Information Management and internal and external stakeholders.

To qualify for the position of Policy Analyst, at GS-0301-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Advising management on program-related issues and/or policy guidelines; Presenting recommendations and findings on program and policy effectiveness and collects, analyzes data, and write a detail analytical report for senior management.
