The posting
At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.
As Senior HR Tech & AI Automation Analyst, you will join the People & Organization Digital Transformation team as a bridge between HR and technology — deeply understanding how HR works end to end and translating business challenges into scalable technology, automation and AI solutions.
You will work across the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle, partnering with HR teams to challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and turn business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. You will then help take those solutions from idea through design, build and implementation — using our HR technology landscape, automation platforms and AI.
You will bring deep HR domain knowledge and hands-on technical capability to translate complex HR processes into scalable, technology-enabled solutions — from automation workflows and AI-powered tools to HRIS improvements and service delivery design.
The role reports to the Head of Digital Transformation, who is part of the HR Senior Leadership Team, and works closely with the People Enablement Tech stream, FlixTech, IT Security, Data Privacy and HR teams across all regions.
This role is based in Berlin. Given the global scope, regular collaboration with colleagues across European, APAC and US time zones is required.
About the Role
Act as a trusted technology partner to HR teams across the end-to-end employee lifecycle — conduct process and technology gap analyses, challenge existing ways of working, identify improvement and automation opportunities, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements implemented through HRIS, AI or automation solutions.
Help build, deploy and maintain Claude-based applications and AI-powered internal tools, working with our cloud and technology teams to ensure appropriate authentication (RBAC/ABAC), governance and HRIS-aligned access controls including MCPs, APIs and custom connectors that securely connect AI applications with the wider HR Tech landscape.
Design and build AI and automation workflows using technologies such as n8n, UiPath, Python-based automation and GenAI/LLMs, creating scalable solutions with appropriate orchestration, exception handling, monitoring and governance.
Drive HR Tech initiatives end to end, from requirements engineering and process/solution design through build, SIT/UAT, implementation and go-live across areas such as HR service delivery model, HRIS security model improvements, payroll transformations, HRIS revamp or migration.
Bring a strong product mindset to HR technology — turning business problems into scalable products and frameworks, including Jira-based HR service desks, Rovo Agents and AI-enabled employee/HR experiences, and continuously improving them based on user needs and business value.
About You
6+ years of experience as an HR Tech Analyst, HR Business/Process Analyst, AI & Automation Analyst or similar role, with deep, demonstrable HR domain knowledge across hire-to-retire processes. This is must-have for the role. A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, Business Technology or a related field is preferred.
Strong ability to analyse HR processes, translate business problems into functional and technical requirements, and implement solutions across a complex HR technology landscape.
Hands-on experience building AI and automation solutions using technologies such as n8n, Python scripts, UiPath and GenAI/LLM tooling. n8n certification is a plus.
Experience building and deploying internal applications in cloud environments, including working with APIs, MCPs, custom connectors and integrations to securely move data between enterprise systems.
Hands-on understanding of Claude/GenAI application deployment and enterprise security, including RBAC/ABAC, authentication, access governance and protection of sensitive HR data.
Strong working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo Agents and BPMN, with the ability to design service desks, workflows, process frameworks and technology-enabled HR services.
Fluency in English. HR technology experience is essential; certifications in business/process analysis, automation or agile delivery (e.g. Six Sigma, SAFe, Scrum, PMP, Archimate) are a plus.
We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences. If you think you could have an impact even though you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply. We want to hear from you!
