Serve as the Administrative Officer for the G5.
Responsible for a major portion of the administrative workload.
Relieve the Assistant Chief of Staff G5 of day to day and continue personnel, budget and administrative matters essential to the direction and implementation of the overall mission of the G5.
Provide direct assistance in the management of the organization by performing, obtaining, and/or directing a large variety of administrative and associated management services.
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive program for the effective control and management of all administrative and personnel functions.
Interface with HQ FORSCOM to coordinate and provide confirmation of country clearances as required for TDY of NETCOM personnel.
Responsible for G5 manpower administration, personnel management and training, policy, technical matters, security, OPSEC, management control, records-management, routine and special reports.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience would be demonstrated by researching issues such as personnel, budget, or supply to advise leadership on administrative support functions; monitoring procedures for the control, maintenance, or disposition of records; and preparing manpower reports for leadership review.
OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources.
OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
