Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Nagpur. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging videos, ensuring high-quality storytelling that aligns with Locals’ brand and mission.
Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and effects, coordinating with the creative and marketing teams, and adapting content for different platforms and formats.
The role also involves collaborating on concept development for reels and campaigns, maintaining consistent visual style, and delivering projects within deadlines. The Video Editor will contribute ideas, take ownership of their work, and help create memorable travel stories through video.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills to handle end-to-end creation of video content.
Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone across all projects.
Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to enhance storytelling with dynamic visual elements.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should have effective communication and collaboration skills, and be comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback.
Relevant experience in content creation for social media, travel, or lifestyle brands is beneficial; a portfolio showcasing previous video work is highly preferred.
A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is an advantage but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
