Interaction Designer

**Purpose of the Job**

As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will shape the user experience across our ecosystem by acting as the vital bridge between Industrial and Digital Experience Design.

Your primary mission is to craft outstanding, state-of-the-art interaction design solutions that deliver a seamless, enjoyable, and accessible user experience across all touchpoints of the hearing care journey-from hearing instruments (HIs) and chargers to mobile apps and software platforms.

By harmonizing hardware touchpoints with digital platforms, you will drive ecosystem alignment and ensure consistent, holistic user experience. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Experience and Industrial Design teams, Product Managers, Strategic Marketing, and R&D to design solutions that are simple, intuitive, and meaningful.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

* Drive a cohesive end-to-end UX/UI experience, ensuring that physical user interactions seamlessly trigger and align with digital workflows across mobile apps and B2B/B2C solutions.

* Apply User-Centered Design (UCD) and Design Thinking methods across the entire design process, from wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to advanced, interactive prototypes. Utilize these tools to map out customer journeys that simulate the physical-to-digital bridge and align seamlessly with the broader experience design strategy.

* Engage in ongoing user research and design validation to ensure a data-informed, hypothesis-driven approach.

* Actively contributes to design guidelines, metrics, and success criteria at the group level.

* Collaborate with Design, PMs, and R&D to ensure seamless integration across the Sonova ecosystem.

* Actively promote design quality, best practices, and a culture of craft within the team.

**Requirements**

* University degree in Interaction Design, Experience Design, or similar

* 5+ years designing end-to-end digital products for web and mobile (iOS/Android).

* Expertise in UX research and hypothesis-driven, user-centered methodologies.

* Advanced skills in Figma, and modern AI-powered prototyping tools.

* Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and mentor junior team members.

* Strong analytical skills with a data-informed approach to decision-making.

* Self-motivated, organized, and highly effective in fast-paced, complex environments with a passion for continuous innovation and quality.

* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
