Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP — specify as applicable)

Manage internal servers, networks, VPNs, and firewalls

Ensure system uptime, backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place.

SaaS & Application Administration

Administer core business SaaS tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, HRMS, CRM, etc.)

Manage user provisioning, access control, and license optimization across tools

Evaluate and implement new tools as the company scales

Security & Compliance

Implement and enforce IT security policies (endpoint security, password policies, MFA, data protection)

Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc. as applicable to a SaaS company)

Monitor for security vulnerabilities and coordinate patching/update

Process & Documentation

Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles

Continuously improve IT processes to support a scaling, remote-friendly team

Collaborate with engineering/DevOps on shared infrastructure needs where relevant

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

7–9 years of experience in system administration, preferably at a startup or SaaS company

Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux environments

Experience administering cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Hands-on experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 administration

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls)

Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance frameworks

Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Excellent communication skills — able to support both technical and non-technical teammates

Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including occasional weekends/nights, to support business hours across regions/on-call needs
