Position Objectives
The supply chain manager will act as an interface between the Bosch semiconductor Logistic Planning group
(ME/LOS-SO) and assembly and test subcontractors/ foundry suppliers in Asia, mainly China.
Responsible for controlling the supply chain in assembly lines as well as supply management (loading, delivery
fullfillment, pulls ins etc.)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Management/steering of subcontractors in general, but especially during critical delivery situation
2. Responsible for KPIs like Cycle Time, Material Supportability etc.
3. To provide timely management updates on any critical information that may potentially affect Bosch’s business.
This information could be strike, accidents, airport closures, planned line and equipment changes or moves,
and changes in organisation.
4. To check that all other actions requested from the subcontractor by Bosch are correctly understood and carried out.
5. Continuously looking for opportunities or suggest new ways to improve work processes, improve KPIs of the subcontractors.
6. To monitor the progress of production lots as well as provide immediate disposition in the case of logistic constraints causing
delivery problems, capacity bottlenecks, releasing of hold lots
7. Being responsible that subcon provides parts and needed quantities in time, prioritize lots
8. Short term support on site in assembly and foundry locations if needed
9. Regular visits of assembly and foundry partners
Work Experience: Professional (5-10 years)
Project Experience:min. 3 years
Bachelor Degree, major in Logistics and Management
Social Competence: Initiative and willing to learn
