**Responsibilities**

* Analyse global logistics data, costs and operational performance to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

* Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, reports and cost-saving initiatives across the global organisation.

* Conduct root-cause analyses and translate findings into practical process and service improvements.

* Optimise inbound, outbound and internal goods flows, including transportation routes and distribution processes.

* Monitor carrier performance, delivery reliability, logistics quality and customer service levels.

* Support logistics procurement activities, including transport capacity, warehouse space and external logistics services.

* Work closely with inventory planners to improve inventory visibility, cost control and materials management.

* Support strategic supply-chain projects, including production relocations and the development of distribution networks.

* Collaborate with Sales, Business Units, Engineering, warehouses and external logistics partners.

* Lead or support cross-functional continuous improvement projects and help implement global logistics best practices.

**Candidate Profile**

* Bachelor-s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related quantitative field.

* At least five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, analytics, consulting or finance.

* Experience in inventory, demand or supply planning, preferably within manufacturing.Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.

* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convince stakeholders at all levels in an international and matrix-based environment.

* Structured, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

* Fluent German and English.
