ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Oversees and/or performs data exploration, visualization, analysis, and synthesis to augment traditional intelligence sources and methods. 2.
Exploits understanding of machine learning, data science, and related disciplines to collaborate on analytic projects or programs throughout the DoD, IC, CCMDs, Foreign Partners, Academia, and Industry; provides value-added insights. 3.
Develops and/or evaluates artificial intelligence and/or data science solutions to all source analysis tradecraft, assessments, production, and dissemination challenges. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of topics in graph theory and knowledge modeling, from fundamental concepts such as nodes and edges through algorithmic solutions. 5.
Demonstrated experience with programming in at least one general-purpose compiled and one interpreted language (e.g., C and Python) and applying software development processes and paradigms. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1.
Demonstrated data science expertise and experience with mathematical optimization, from calculus-based computation through algorithmic and numerical solutions. 2. Demonstrated experience providing technical oversight of data analytic development and contracted data scientists. 3.
Demonstrated experience working in a complex operating environment with a high operational tempo. Basic Requirements: A. Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position.
The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or B. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
