Lead IT FAR Solution Architect 80-100%

Zurich Insurance Group is transforming its end-to-end Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR) landscape.

Sitting within the Group Technology Organisation, Finance, Investments & Treasury department, you will own solution architecture across the full reporting chain - from Finance Hub into SAP FICO, through GRDC consolidation into SAP Group Reporting, and through to Disclosure Management.

Cutting across this chain are strategic platform initiatives around BDC, Data Sphere, and Master Data. This is a hands-on role - you are expected to get into the detail, not just the slide deck.

**What you will do**

* Own end-to-end architecture from Finance Hub ingest through FICO, GRDC, GR, and Disclosure Management

* Lead solution design for GR/GRDC consolidation flows and upstream FICO dependencies

* Architect the Finance Hub integration layer and the Disclosure Management connection to GR

* Shape BDC / Data Sphere as the analytical and automation platform alongside the SAP core, on AWS

* Partner with central finance functions and business units to accelerate the financial close cycle

* Own architecture decisions and sign-off artefacts; lead design reviews and resolve cross-stream technical risks

* Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, data governance, and security policies

* Govern Tooling within the System Landscape

**What you bring**

* 8+ years in IT solution architecture or senior SAP technical consulting

* Deep hands-on expertise in SAP FICO, Experience in SAP Group Reporting (S/4HANA), including GRDC as advantage

* Understanding of the full FAR chain - Finance Hub, FICO close, GRDC rollups, GR, Disclosure Management

* Experience with SAP BDC / Data Sphere or comparable analytical platform architecture is a strong advantage

* Experience designing and building solutions across the existing Landscape

* Comfortable at code/config level - prototyping, reviewing specs, validating implementations hands-on

* Fluent in English; German is a plus
