Senior Backend Software Engineer

What am I going to do?

You develop it all! Including products and features.

You’ll be building and developing modules, data pipelines, and services.

You own it - from design to production.

Being available for on-call shifts.

Requirements

5+ years building and operating production backend systems at scale

Very strong coding abilities in at least one modern language (Kotlin, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Python)

Proven ownership of services end to end: API design, data modeling, performance, reliability, and observability in production

Deep understanding of Computer Science principles and strong analytical skills

Hands-on experience and established working practices with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar)

Experience in designing and building AI-powered product features, from prompt design to scalable, production-ready integrations is a strong plus

Readiness to contribute beyond your core discipline. Backend is your depth, and you'll be expected to contribute to frontend and other adjacent work as features require

Fluent in English and Ukrainian

BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
