Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright.

Develop functional, integration, and API tests for backend services and application workflows.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.

Ability to contribute independently to production code, not only test code.

Candidates must be able to maintain approximately 80–90% overlap with EST working hours.

We are seeking a hands-on backend engineer with strong quality engineering and test automation expertise. The initial focus will be on test engineering and building robust automated testing using TypeScript and Playwright, with opportunities to contribute more broadly to production backend engineering using Java or Kotlin.

This role is best suited to an engineer who is comfortable working in both production code and test automation rather than focusing exclusively on traditional QA activities.
