Senior CICS Systems Programmer

CICS Systems Programmer Install/maintain IBM CICS/TS software and associated tools

Experience with CICS/TS version migration/upgrade

Responsible for maintaining CICS definitions, including RDO, BAS, Files, etc

Responsible for tuning of CICS and capacity planning of CICS resources

Responsible for monitoring and reporting on CICS system performance

Knowledge of configuring CICSPELX Groups and HA configurations in a SYSPLEX environment

Experience with RACF

Experience with CICS troubleshooting issues and dump analysis

Experience of / exposure to programming languages, including Assembler, COBOL, REXX, SAS, etc

Document/maintain software inventory of CICS tools and their installation procedures

Evaluate and research new CICS functionality to exploit new features

Monitor and apprise management on EOS of existing tools and take proactive action
