The posting

You will serve as the New Parent Home Support Visitor providing New Parent Support Program (NPSP) services.

You will coordinate a New Parent Support (NPS) program for compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

You will coordinate support services for expectant parents during pregnancy to education on prenatal or postpartum programs with individualized center and home-based assessments.

You will provide prenatal and postpartum education and support to new parents.

You will discuss with staff members technical aspects on New Parent Support Program policies and procedures.

You will promote and publicize training resources available for social services programs.

You will administer ongoing case management services to assess individual or family needs.

This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: CLINICAL COUNSELOR (0101) OR SOCIAL WORKER (0185).

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
