There are NO limits to your career: come shape the future and be part of a truly unique global culture at OutSystems ! About This Role As a Lead Security Analyst, you will lead OutSystems ' Security Analyst team in India, driving the day-to-day operations of our Security Operations Center (SOC) and the people who run it.
Reporting into the Global SOC Manager, this is a hands-on leadership position: you will manage, mentor, and grow a team of security analysts while remaining close enough to the work to set the technical bar for alert triage, threat monitoring, and incident response.
OutSystems runs a cloud-first, multi-cloud estate, and much of what your team defends is cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications (containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and SaaS), so a strong cloud-security mindset is central to this role.
You will be the operational anchor for the India team and partner closely with security engineering, incident response, and global SOC leadership to ensure continuous, high-quality coverage of our cloud environments and global operations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the India-based Security Analyst team. Own hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development for the analyst team. Set clear goals and expectations, run regular 1:1s, and build a healthy, resilient team culture across shifts.
Own SOC operations and coverage across the cloud estate. Manage day-to-day monitoring, triage, and escalation workflows to ensure timely, consistent coverage of our multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native workloads. Define and maintain operational processes, shift schedules, and runbooks, and ensure hand-offs across regions and shifts are seamless.
Set and uphold the technical bar for cloud detection and response. Oversee alert triage, investigation quality, and incident handling for cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications (containers, Kubernetes, serverless, SaaS). Lead the team through incidents, provide guidance on complex cloud investigations, and ensure findings feed back into continuous improvement.
Drive quality and measurable outcomes. Define, track, and report on SOC metrics and SLAs (e.g. time-to-triage, time-to-respond, false-positive rates). Use data to identify gaps, reduce noise, and continuously improve analyst effectiveness.
Partner across the security organization. Work closely with security engineering and detection engineering to provide analyst feedback on detections, tooling, and automation opportunities. Represent the India team to the Global SOC Manager and wider security leadership, and act as a key point of escalation.
Champion continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to improve processes, tooling, automation, and training, helping the team scale with the business and stay ahead of evolving threats.
Qualifications
Solid experience (6-8 years) in security operations / SOC analysis, with at least 2-3 years leading or managing a team of analysts.
Strong hands-on background in cloud security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a clear understanding of cloud-specific attack techniques and telemetry (control-plane/API logs, CloudTrail, identity and network flow logs).
Hands-on experience monitoring and responding to threats against cloud-native applications and workloads — containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and SaaS — and familiarity with cloud-native security tooling (CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, cloud-native SIEM).
Proven people-leadership experience: hiring, mentoring, performance management, and running a 24/7 or follow-the-sun operation across shifts.
Strong working knowledge of SOC tooling (cloud-native SIEM, EDR, SOAR, logging/monitoring) and of the analyst workflows built on top of them.
Solid understanding of the threat landscape, attacker techniques, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK (including the ATT&CK Cloud matrices), and the ability to translate them into effective triage and response.
Practical experience defining and improving SOC processes, playbooks, escalation paths, and operational metrics/SLAs.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, strong knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, and a good grasp of how detections and telemetry map to real threats.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to lead a team, brief leadership, and coordinate across global, distributed teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on detection engineering experience (writing/tuning detection rules, ideally for cloud and cloud-native telemetry) is a nice to have.
Relevant security certifications are a plus, especially cloud-security credentials (e.g. AWS Security Specialty, Azure/GCP security certs, GCP/AWS professional) alongside GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, or CISM.
More about OutSystems

Global organizations trust OutSystems to rapidly build mission-critical apps and agents, modernize legacy processes with agentic systems, and govern their entire AI portfolio across complex regulatory environments, all on one unified platform.
As the future becomes agentic, our customers need us now more than ever. While AI has opened the door to extraordinary possibilities, most large organizations find themselves stuck on one side of the "enterprise gap" because AI by itself doesn't solve their complex use cases and business challenges.

We are looking for passionate, talented, and motivated people to join us as we empower organizations to build, deploy, and scale the next generation of enterprise software.
While we are leading the charge into the agentic era, our mission is broader: we are the platform enterprise leaders trust to evolve their entire business, accelerating innovation through secure, governed human-AI collaboration.
