## Your team ##

Corporate Functions includes the Group-s non-banking activities and employs more than 700 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk, Tax and Sustainability Office departments.

Based in Geneva, you will join the Group Sustainability Office (GSO), which supports the advancement of Pictet's sustainability strategy across the firm. You will collaborate closely with members of the research team, the wider GSO team and external academics to develop evidence-based insights on sustainability-related issues.

## Your role ##

In this role, you will drive empirical research on sustainability topics and their interlinkages with finance, initially focusing on environmental resilience. Your work will help shape and support the continued development of Pictet-s long-term sustainability ambitions.

You will be in charge of

* Leading or contributing to research projects of strategic importance to the Group Sustainability Office in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external academics, including the publication of research findings.

* Contributing to the design of research methodologies and performing empirical analyses.

* Translating complex sustainability and financial topics into clear, actionable insights for a broad range of stakeholders, including investment, management, risk and sales teams.

* Supporting the GSO team with ad hoc initiatives and projects.

## Your profile ##

* Master's degree in sustainability, finance, economics or a related field; PhD considered a strong asset.

* Strong knowledge of sustainability topics, particularly climate change, biodiversity loss, land-use change and water stress.

* Solid understanding of asset and wealth management, including asset classes (listed and unlisted), asset allocation and valuation.

* An applied research background at the intersection of sustainability and finance, especially as they relate to valuation, asset allocation, portfolio construction and performance analysis.

* Strong quantitative skills, including statistics and data analysis.

* Advanced coding skills, particularly in Python.

* Adaptable, proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently while building effective collaborative relationships across teams.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner.

* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
