Research Chemist / Research Scientist ===================================== ### Job description: We are looking for a \*\*Research Chemist / Research Scientist\*\* with a strong background in \*\*synthetic organic chemistry\*\* to support research activities from discovery through to development. ### About the customer: \\\ \*\*Location:\*\* Stein, Aargau \\\\\ \*\*Start:\*\* Ideally November 2026 \\\\\ \*\*Duration:\*\* Until October 2027 \\\\\ \*\*Workload:\*\* 100%, 42 hours week \\ ### Requirements: \\\ Independently execute \*\*synthetic organic chemistry\*\* routes in a safe, effective and sustainable manner. \\\\\ Design efficient synthetic routes to target molecules using scientific expertise and available digital tools. \\\\\ Collaborate with supporting platforms including \*\*automation, analytical and purification teams\*\*. \\\\\ Perform detailed risk assessments of experimental procedures and raw materials in with HSE requirements. \\\\\ Troubleshoot synthetic chemistry challenges and contribute to scientific problem solving. \\\\\ Accurately document experimental procedures and data to ensure reproducibility, traceability and secure intellectual property. \\\\\ Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes, safety and productivity. \\ ### Competences: \\\ \*\*Master's degree in Organic Chemistry / Synthetic Chemistry\*\* preferred. \\\\\ Ideally at least \*\*2 years of professional experience as a Research Scientist\*\* in synthetic organic chemistry.
