Qualified Nurse (HF, DN II or FH) 30% for Night Shift

The socio-pedagogical-psychiatric model ward SOMOSA offers an inpatient 6- to 12-month intensive treatment programme for 14- to 18-year-old clients who are in a severe adolescent crisis. The aim of the treatment is to stabilise the clients' personalities to such an extent that they can cope with the existing supportive or substitute socialisation systems upon discharge.

As a recognised listed hospital in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and as a youth home with a socio-pedagogical mandate, we fulfil both requirements through long-standing, intersystemic collaboration in the specialist fields of social pedagogy, nursing, psychotherapy and work therapy.

We are looking for a qualified nurse (HF, DN II or FH) for the night shift, 30%

immediately or by arrangement

Your area of responsibility

* Together with your colleagues on the night shifts, you ensure the clients' night rest in our residential groups. The two residential groups for male clients with 10 rooms each are combined at night; the residential group for female clients with one group of 10 and one of 4 rooms is located in another building, a 5-minute walk from the main building.

* Thanks to your professional qualification and experience, you are able to provide security and competently assess delicate situations.

* In case of need, you act confidently and solution-oriented, alerting the in-house background service or external support.

* When everything is quiet, you carry out, in addition to regular rounds and safety checks, medication controls and other tasks delegated by the day service.

* If young people work externally, you wake them in the morning and take care of them as far as necessary.

* Contact with the treatment team of the day services is maintained through daily morning and evening handovers.

You bring with you

* Nurse HF, DN II or FH with a focus on psychiatry

* Experience in the inpatient adolescent psychiatric field and/or in dealing with antisocial young men and women

* Desire and physical ability to work regularly at night

* PC skills: Word, Excel (pure application)

* You are at least 28 years old
