Job description

You will work within an operating theatre composed of 6 operating rooms, covering various specialties: orthopaedic, trauma, digestive and bariatric surgery, urology, gynaecology, obstetrics, plastic surgery and ENT.

In your new role, your duties impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:

* Independently managing patients requiring surgical intervention

* Collaborating with the anaesthetist during induction, intraoperative monitoring and patient recovery

* Preparing equipment for anaesthesia in compliance with safety and asepsis rules

* Ensuring intraoperative traceability on a digital platform linked to the patient-s file

* Occasionally performing the role of nurse in the recovery room

* Contributing to the smooth running of the surgical programme in collaboration with the surgical team.

* Minimum 2 years- experience in a similar role preferred

Education level

Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing with a specialisation in anaesthesia or equivalent recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
