**Final Testing and Quality Assurance of Mass Spectrometers**

To strengthen our Quality Assurance team, we are looking for a dedicated and qualified **full-time** Final Test Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on the final testing of complex analytical instrumentation.

## Responsibilities ##

* **Final Testing and Release:** Perform comprehensive functional and technical final tests on completed mass spectrometers in accordance with engineering specifications and requirements.

* **Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:** Conduct systematic fault analysis and diagnostics in cases of deviations from target performance (electrical, mechanical, vacuum-related, and software-based).

* **Documentation:** Prepare test reports and product release documentation.

* **Continuous Improvement:** Actively contribute to the further development and optimization of testing processes and procedures.

* **Collaboration:** Work closely with the Assembly, Engineering, and Service teams to ensure efficient problem-solving and issue resolution.

## Qualifications ##

* Completed technical vocational training in Chemistry, Electronics, Mechanics, or a related field, **and/or** a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a comparable discipline.

* Experience in analytical instrumentation or working with highly complex measurement systems, ideally mass spectrometers and/or vacuum systems.

* Strong understanding of complex technical systems and a structured approach to troubleshooting.

* Proficiency in the use of measurement and testing equipment.

* Good written and spoken English skills (B2 level), German is nice-to-have

* Independent, precise, and responsible working style.
