Your responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and execute functional, performance, durability, and end-of-line (EOL) tests on eAxle systems and subcomponents.

Configure and operate powertrain test benches, measurement equipment, and data acquisition systems.

Develop and maintain test specifications and test procedures based on customer and system requirements.

Analyze measurement results and identify deviations, anomalies, and potential root causes.

Document test results and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Support failure investigations and root cause analysis activities together with cross-functional experts.

Participate in the continuous improvement of testing methods, test automation solutions, and validation processes.

Support product release activities by providing validation evidence and technical assessments.

Collaborate closely with international project teams and technical experts across different engineering disciplines.

Education and Experience

MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience in automotive testing, validation, development, or laboratory engineering.

Understanding of electric drive systems, electric motors, transmissions and/or power electronics.

Familiarity with measurement equipment and laboratory environments.

Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN is an advantage.

Knowledge of test automation tools, data analysis software, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is beneficial.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Personality

Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Structured and precise working approach.

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical expertise.

Nice to have

Experience with electric mobility or eDrive systems.

Knowledge of CANoe, CANape, INCA, ETAS, LabVIEW, dSPACE, MATLAB, or Python.

Understanding of vehicle-level and powertrain-level testing methodologies.

German language skills.
