Tosca Developer / QA Automation Engineer (Tricentis Tosca)

5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

Strong hands-on expertise in Tricentis TOSCA.

Experience with Tosca Commander, XScan, TDS, TCD, and Execution Lists.

Strong knowledge of UI, API, and Database Testing.

Experience with SQL and REST/SOAP services.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a TOSCA Developer, your day-to-day will focus on designing, maintaining, and executing automation solutions with Tricentis TOSCA that support end-to-end testing initiatives. At first, you'll focus on building and maintaining test cases and reusable modules on top of existing frameworks; as you gain momentum, you'll take on more autonomy to propose improvements to the automation framework and help lead the integration of full suites into the team's CI/CD pipelines.

Your responsibilities will include

Develop and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA.

Create reusable, data-driven test modules and automation components.

Perform UI automation using Tosca XScan and object identification techniques.

Develop and execute API and database validation test cases.

Implement test data management using TDS, TCPs, buffers, and external data sources.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites.

Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and support defect resolution.

Integrate and run automation suites through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Collaborate with QA, Development, Business, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

Contribute to automation framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience improving or extending TOSCA automation frameworks (e.g., standardization of modules, reporting, and reusable libraries).

Strong scripting skills in support of automation tasks (as applicable to the project).

Experience with version control and collaborative development practices (e.g., Git-based workflows).

Familiarity with test reporting/metrics and root-cause analysis approaches to reduce flaky tests.
