The position evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients who exhibit evidence the full range of disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders -5-TR..

Conduct psychological assessment of patients with a wide variety of known or suspected psychological disorders that affect intellectual, cognitive, behavioral or emotional functioning.

Provide staffing for clinical cases.

Perform psychotherapeutic intervention or environmental modification based on scientific, evidence-based practice, or other community-accepted standard of care.

Oversee, administer, and interpret appropriate psychological tests.

Provide consultation regarding testing and interpreting issues.

Evaluate test results for preparing diagnostic summaries.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Basic Requirements for Clinical Psychologist Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients who exhibit evidence the full range of disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), or more current accepted standard and functions as an authoritative source of information regarding the use and interpretation of psychological tests; monitoring, approving, and documenting clinical treatment plans and clinical records in timely fashion; providing staffing for clinical cases, including in emergency consultation and crisis scenarios; performing psychotherapeutic intervention or environmental modification based on scientific, evidence-based practice, or other community-accepted standard of care.

AND Licensure: This position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package).
