TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL)

You will be responsible for project leadership, oversight and direction for the work carried out by the line organizations at the Department, Division, or Branch.

You will interface with Customer Agents for one or more programs to establish project requirements, deliverables, cost, and schedules to meet customer requirements.

You will determine the most effective execution framework and strategy and to establish project plans for technical execution of tasking.

You will create and establish general principles and policies for the agency, including discretion to plan, budget, schedule, direct work, and implement programs.

You will be responsible for overall cost, schedule and performance monitoring and reporting for their designated technical output area and regularly report status and project performance health metrics to senior management.

You will negotiate and accept work assignments for assigned programs, accepts and manages varied funding documents and types of funding, negotiates new tasking with internal and external customers.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NT-0 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading complex acquisition programs and diverse technical projects without direct line authority; planning and executing program budgets within a Navy Working Capital Fund environment; and utilizing effective communication, originality, and sound judgment to manage Navy and DoD systems and in-service engineering functions (such as Integrated Warfare Systems, submarine systems support, fleet training, and obsolescence management).
