Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (Remote)

The School of Social Work at Louisiana State University announces the availability of a 12-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (non tenure-track). The responsibilities of this position include: teaching online courses in the MSW program, coordinating and supervising student field work and internships, and providing service to the University, College, School, and profession.

Job Responsibilities

85% Teaching graduate courses in the MSW online program and coordinating & supervising student field work & internships

10% Providing service to the University, College, School, and profession

Minimum Qualifications: MSW; three years post MSW experience

Minimum Certifications/Licenses: MSW plus highest level of licensure in the state of residence per state law.

Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Social Work or DSW; two years of teaching experience at the college/university level

Preferred Certifications/Licenses: PhD/DSW with license in the state of residence per state law.
