Product Owner - Production Planning for Aircraft Maintenance

To strengthen our Product Management team in Basel, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in aviation maintenance and production planning.

**Your Role**

As Product Owner, you will shape the future of **Production Planning for Aircraft Maintenance**. You will combine your aviation expertise with your product management skills to turn complex operational challenges into valuable software solutions.

You will work closely with customers, aviation experts, Product Management, and software development teams to define the right solutions and bring them successfully to market.

**Tasks**

* Own the **product vision, roadmap, and backlog** for Production Planning.

* Understand customer and industry needs and translate them into clear product requirements.

* Prioritize development activities based on customer value, business goals, and strategic priorities.

* Collaborate closely with software development teams during solution design and delivery.

* Act as the link between customers, aviation experts, and software development.

* Validate product outcomes through customer feedback, product performance, and continuous improvement.

* Stay up to date with aviation regulations, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

* Build relationships with industry experts and contribute to the evolution of industry standards through working groups and conferences.

**Skills**

* Experience as a **Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar software product role**.

* Strong knowledge of **aviation maintenance and production planning**.

* Experience with **MRO software or aviation-related systems** is highly desirable.

* Understanding of Agile product development principles.

* Ability to translate complex business needs into clear software requirements.

* Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* A degree in aviation engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is an advantage.
