The posting
Experian India is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business. This role will own the end-to-end consumer product strategy, roadmap, customer experience, growth, monetization, and delivery across Experian's digital consumer platforms.
The ideal candidate combines product thinking and execution capability. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Design, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and external partners to build market-leading financial wellness products that help consumers understand, monitor, and improve their financial health.
This is a high-impact role with ownership of one of Experian India's key strategic growth businesses.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Ownership
Own the vision, roadmap, and execution of Experian India's D2C product portfolio.
Define long-term product strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
Build differentiated consumer propositions leveraging Experian's data and analytics capabilities.
Prioritize initiatives using customer insights, business impact, and data-driven decision making.
Product Development
Lead the complete product lifecycle—from ideation and business case through launch and post-launch optimization.
Prepare PRDs, BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and Data teams to ensure delivery.
Manage release planning and feature rollouts.
Growth & Monetization
Drive revenue growth across subscriptions, partnerships, consumer services, and new monetization opportunities.
Develop pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for new products.
Identify new consumer propositions using credit data, alternative data, AI, and financial wellness services.
Partnerships
Evaluate and onboard strategic partners across fintechs, banks, insurers, marketplaces, and digital ecosystems.
Manage third-party vendors, integrations, APIs, and commercial relationships.
Identify opportunities to expand Experian's consumer ecosystem.
Program & Stakeholder Management
Manage cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Security, Operations, and Customer Support.
Ensure products comply with RBI regulations, DPDP requirements, internal governance, and security standards.
Drive project governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
What You'll Bring
Experience
~10 years of experience in Product Management within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Digital Platforms, or Consumer Internet.
Demonstrated experience building and scaling customer-facing digital products.
Experience managing products from concept through launch and commercialization.
We prefer candidates with experience owning business metrics and product P&L.
Technical & Product Skills
Experience with APIs, microservices, cloud-based architectures, and digital platforms.
Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications.
Domain Knowledge
