### About the job ###
At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information.
We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In the AI era, users expect Search to effortlessly Answer, Explore, and Address Anything. To meet these rising expectations, our models need the content.
The Search Content Platform (SCP) team builds an AI-first content platform to deliver a comprehensive and trustworthy knowledge source. By acquiring third-party data and organizing disparate modalities-such as text, images, videos, and User-Generated Content-into a seamless whole, we make Search AI experiences rich, helpful, and performant.
Our team's mission is to use AI to revolutionize how we acquire and organize third-party content. As the Group Product Manager for Content Acquisition and Identity, you will manage a team to define the future of Google Search content. You will collaborate with engineering teams in Zurich, Sao Paulo, and Mountain View, and represent the organization to key partners.
In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information - any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.
### Responsibilities ###
* Lead the product goal, detailed platform requirements for a horizontal content acquisition platform that accelerates third-party (3P) content acquisition while delivering on critical priority verticals such as Sports and Health.
* Enable Search to answer billions of user queries daily by innovating on content identity for the AI era and establishing clear, disambiguated, and precise identities for billions of user queries on Search daily.
* Direct efforts to analyze billions of current and aspirational user queries that lack sufficient content, and prioritize or drive initiatives to bridge these gaps and improve product helpfulness to end users.
* Discuss your knowledge and use of AI tools during the hiring process to demonstrate the AI fluency expected in this role.
