The posting

We're looking for a Middle Product Designer to join our team and help shape user experiences across complex, regulated product areas. In this role, you’ll shape exceptional user experiences, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure design is central to our product development while helping build out and maintain our shared design system. Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the design process from research through delivery — wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups — for features in complex, regulated domains (e.g., pricing, chargebacks, Medicaid-like workflows)

Develop and maintain components within our existing design system, following established patterns to keep things consistent and scalable across products

Design visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on interaction design and clear dashboards and data visualizations that surface the KPIs most relevant to a given user role (where applicable)

Align design decisions with product goals and user needs, and be ready to explain your reasoning to stakeholders and engineers

Collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders; participate actively in design workshops and collaborative problem-solving

Bring AI tools into your daily design workflow to work faster and explore ideas more effectively

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of product design experience with a portfolio showing visual design, interaction design, and product thinking, ideally in complex or regulated subject matter

Strong knowledge of web guidelines, responsive design, and accessibility

Analytical mindset — comfortable digging into dense, regulated content and simplifying it for end users; visual polish is a plus but not the primary bar

Experience in high-complexity domains — fintech, healthtech, legaltech, or similar

Comfortable working within an existing design system: building new components and thinking in scalable, reusable patterns

Experience participating in design workshops and collaborative problem-solving;

Comfortable presenting design decisions with reasoning, including pushing back on stakeholders or engineers when needed, English at C1 level or higher

Experience with usability testing and conducting user interviews;

Proficiency in Figma

Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about innovation and learning;

Genuinely AI-forward — AI is part of your everyday workflow, not just occasional use of tools like Claude or ChatGPT

Data visualization / dashboard design experience is a plus
