The posting

The Coca-Cola Company is building a modern product organization for a business that operates at extraordinary scale. Our ambition is not simply to digitize existing workflows. We are building the products, platforms, and intelligent capabilities that will shape how The Coca-Cola Company serves customers, accelerates growth, and operates in the future.

That means designing experiences that help customers do business with us more seamlessly, give sales and service teams better insight and decision support, and connect the workflows and data behind a complex operating system. The work spans customer experience, service enablement, sales experience, operations, and growth - with opportunities to build entirely new capabilities in areas like personalization, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and decision intelligence.

We're bringing together Product, Engineering, Design, and Data in small, empowered teams with ownership from discovery through delivery and iteration. Design and research are central to this shift, helping teams understand how people actually work, simplify complex systems, and create experiences that are coherent, useful, and built for impact.

This is a chance to help define what great product design looks like inside one of the world's most iconic brands: deeply practical, beautifully crafted, and built for a business where digital and the physical world meet every day.

What You Will Work On

Staff Designers at The Coca-Cola Company operate across product areas, not just within one. Your scope will span:

Digital enterprise and consumer experiences across The Coca-Cola Company's global brand portfolio

Sales, service, and operational tools used by the teams who run the business day to day

The design system and shared experience frameworks that give our products coherence at scale

AI-enabled and intelligent product experiences as we integrate emerging capabilities across our platform

The design practice itself: how we work, how we grow designers, and how we earn influence across the organization

You will not be heads-down on a single product area. You will be the connective tissue across teams, the person who sees the whole board and makes the right calls about where design needs to go next.

Responsibilities

Strategic Design Influence and Leadership

Co-create product strategy with product management and engineering partners for your areas, shaping vision and roadmap from the start, not after the fact

Craft UX direction across multiple product areas, ensuring coherence, quality, and user-centricity across multiple user types

Anticipate and break down organizational and technical resistance, navigating ambiguity with confidence and earning trust through sound judgment

Executive-level communication on design strategy, crafting narratives that land with senior leadership and move stakeholders to alignment

Design Craft and Innovation

Develop seamless, scalable design solutions that prioritize customer value and address complex, interconnected needs

Work with Design leader and team to establish our design system, ensuring it evolves to meet the demands of a growing, global product portfolio

Model exceptional craft standards and hold a high bar for quality across every experience the team ships

Introduce and champion new design approaches, tools, and methodologies, including AI-assisted design, that help the team move faster without sacrificing rigor

Practice Building and Governance

Create and maintain governance practices around design systems, accessibility, and experience standards

Partner with Product and Design leadership to define how design works at Coca-Cola: the rituals, frameworks, and ways of working that make the team effective and scalable

Scale your expertise: Identify gaps in practice maturity and proactively close them, building systems, workflows or infrastructure that allows other designers to do their best work

Mentorship and Talent Growth

Mentor and develop design craft and experience strategy on the team, actively investing in the growth and evolution of design at The Coca-Cola Company

Lead critique, feedback, and review processes that raise the quality of the team's work and develop design judgment across the organization

Foster a culture of experimentation, reflection, and continuous improvement, making learning a visible and valued part of how the team operates

Cross-Functional Influence

Build deep, trusted relationships with product, engineering, data, and research partners at the most senior levels

Secure stakeholder buy-in through compelling storytelling and a track record of delivering outcomes, not just artifacts

Represent the design organization in strategic conversations across the business, advocating for user-centered approaches with clarity and credibility

What We Are Looking For

Required

8-10 years of product design or UX experience, with at least 2 years operating at a staff, principal, or design lead level

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

A portfolio demonstrating strategic design and thought leadership on complex, high-impact digital products with measurable business and user outcomes

Proven ability to co-own product strategy alongside product management and engineering, shaping direction from the top down, not just responding to it

Experience contributing to or significantly evolving a design system and the governance practices around it, especially how embedded AI components work within and across platforms. Know the difference between traditional UX, AI in UX and Agentic UX principles and why they matter, with examples.

Strong storytelling and communication skills: you can tailor your message to any audience and consistently earn alignment from senior stakeholders

Demonstrated success mentoring or peer-coaching designers and influencing team capability, not just delivering great work yourself

Deep fluency in user-centered design, accessibility standards, and interaction design across web and mobile platforms

Proficiency in Figma, Claude Code, Claude Design and other modern (AI) prototyping tools, with clear examples of how AI is incorporated into your workflows, how you evaluate AI capabilities, as well as how your inputs and outcomes have improved in the last 18 months

Preferred

Background in complex B2B Saas or enterprise software, CPG, retail, or ecommerce that span multiple user roles, geographies, and touchpoints, often building systems or connected platforms from the ground up.

Expertise designing for or alongside AI-enabled and intelligent systems, including agentic or generative experiences

Experience operating across both consumer-facing and internal tooling product contexts

Core Skills

Strategic Vision: You can evaluate opportunities and deliver design vision with confidence, connecting user needs, business goals, and technical realities into a coherent experience strategy that others rally behind.

Design Craft at Scale: You design experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and elegant, and you build the systems that make quality repeatable across a team.

Effective Influence: You communicate with clarity and credibility at every level of the organization, earning trust through both the quality of your thinking and the outcomes you deliver.
