The posting

We're all about helping brands turn ideas into impact.

Frontify’s brand platform transforms how teams organize digital assets, collaborate on projects, and create engaging campaigns. Our people empower thousands of marketers and designers — including teams at Uber, Microsoft, Volkswagen, and Telefónica — to build engaging brands.

With headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and offices in London and New York City, we share a vibrant culture built on creativity, collaboration, inclusion, and joy. And we’re on the lookout for new team members to share our vision. If you’re ready for a brand-new adventure, keep reading!

Your Team

Your new team is a group of motivated, collaborative, and innovative people. They are Product Managers, Researchers, Analysts, Designers, and Developers from diverse backgrounds. They enjoy working together to create and evolve a well-loved product, while always leaving space for fresh ideas and new approaches. Outside of work, they’re parents, gamers, bookworms, adrenaline seekers, and so much more.

OverviewWe're looking for a Principal Product Designer to join our DAM Product Group and take ownership of how users experience digital asset management within Frontify. You'll work embedded in a cross-functional team, making independent design decisions while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers. This is a hands-on role — you'll be equally comfortable thinking through high-level UX strategy and getting deep into the details of interaction design and UI craft.

Your mission

Make Frontify's DAM the most intuitive and powerful way for brands to organize, find, and distribute their digital assets. You'll own the design quality of your product area end to end, raising the bar for usability and consistency while ensuring every solution you ship genuinely solves real customer problems.

As a principal-level designer, you'll also elevate those around you — mentoring junior designers, leading by example in how you approach craft and decision-making, and helping shape a culture of design excellence across the team.

Your responsibilities

You'll own the UX and UI for your product area within DAM, driving design decisions independently from discovery through to shipped product.

You'll partner with your product manager and engineering team, but you won't wait for direction — you'll proactively identify experience gaps and propose solutions.

You'll design end-to-end flows, from early concepts and wireframes to polished, production-ready UI.

You'll ground your work in user research, data, and customer feedback, advocating for the user when priorities compete.

You'll collaborate with other designers across Frontify to maintain coherence across the broader platform experience.

You'll contribute to design critiques and knowledge sharing, helping raise the craft standard across the team.

Your story

You can work remotely or hybrid within Switzerland, with access to our offices in St. Gallen .

You have 8+ years of design experience working with SaaS or complex digital products, ideally with exposure to DAM, content management, or similar enterprise tooling.

You have a portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, end-to-end design ownership, and the ability to tackle complex information-heavy domains.

You're expert-level proficient with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

You demonstrate strong strategic thinking with ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

You have used the latest technologies (e.g. AI) and tools to enhance digital asset management workflows and user experiences.

You have excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

You're fluent in English.
