SUPERVISORY PROCUREMENT ANALYST

You will provide procurement support for IT equipment and software, related services, instructional material, operational supplies and maintenance.

You will perform contract liaison between the contracting officer, the contractor, the requestor and technical representative, integrating the requirements of various organizational elements.

You will establish Cardholder (CH) and Approving Official (AO) accounts, sets monthly dollar spending thresholds, and assures compliance with local and higher echelon purchase criteria.

You will develop personnel performance standards and evaluates employee performance through appraisal system; plans work to be accomplished by subordinates.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conduct acquisition planning and contract pre-award and post-award functions to determine method of procurement and contract type, documenting acquisition strategy, and obtaining appropriate approvals; 2) Providing guidance and leadership to maintain an effective and productive work force and ensures a continuous flow and exchange of information among contract specialists; 3) Administer contracts to include contract scope determinations, contract modifications, supplemental agreements, justifications, approval reviews/fair opportunity evaluations and claims disputes, and contract terminations; and 4) Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific contracting issues.
