Production & Editing: Works under the Marketing Director to create/modify digital images, graphics, and storyboards. Digitizes, edits, and mixes audio, video, and visual recordings (incorporating special effects, animation, and music libraries). Prepares raw footage into polished products that meet industry standards.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Technical Operations: Operates standard photography and motion picture equipment.
Configures peripheral lighting, sounds equipment, and determines optimal camera angles/shot sequencing. - Identifies and prepares script breakdowns, shot lists, and special effects. Coordination & Compliance: Reviews/edits photos, scripts, and media to ensure alignment with FSS communication themes, protocols, and policies.
Research subject matter and arranges specialized equipment for unique assignments. Field Support: Attends community events and programs to provide active media coverage. Authorized to operate government vehicles (e.g., light trucks, sedans, golf carts) to support transport and field operations.
Core Experience: Progressively responsible professional photography and videography experience. Portfolio Requirement: Must provide a portfolio showcasing a diverse collection of well-executed photos and videos.
Software Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) or other professional editing software. Equipment Operation: Hands-on experience operating a variety of cameras and related video equipment.
