Process medication orders.
Perform substantial bulk compounding, including complex products.
Prepare, store, and issue sterile and non-sterile drug preparations following established guidelines.
Perform technical functions with computer-based systems.
Assist Pharmacist in the drug utilization, quality assurance, and improvement activities.
Provide guidance or assists less experienced medical personnel.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes verifying accuracy of pharmaceutical labels, rotating pharmacy stock, and utilizing automated pharmacy systems to enter and retrieve data.
