You will provide a variety of other projects or tasks that may involve litigation, analysis and legal research.
You will verify legal references and citations and ensure documents are completed and accurate within the time line given by staff attorneys.
You will assist attorneys with preparing and tracking litigation holds, legal briefs and proceedings, settlement agreements, command directive and executive summary.
You will prepare certificates of service, serve opposing parties, purge and closeout case files, and maintain litigation case files.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the followiing: Using an automated system (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information. Assist with clerical and administrative functions to support the needs of the organization.
Prepare legal reports/actions and maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval. Verify evaluations for accuracy prior to submission.
