About Us

Aggarwal AG is a Swiss\-Indian family\-owned company based in Langenthal (BE) and the leading importer and distributor of Indian and international food products in Switzerland. Since 1986, we have built our business around high\-quality products from India, Asia, Africa, and Latin and Central America.

Today, we manage more than 4,000 products across fresh, frozen, and dry food, beverages, and non\-food items. We supply gastronomy and retail customers throughout Switzerland and operate our own stores in Bern, Basel, Zurich, and Baden.

We are looking for an experienced and highly hands\-on Sales \& Operations Manager who will take ownership of our day\-to\-day commercial and operational activities. You will be responsible for building and leading efficient structures, improving processes, and contributing to the achievement of our short\-, medium\-, and long\-term business objectives.

Your Role

This is a key management position with a broad area of responsibility. Working closely with the management team, you will take ownership of the company’s commercial and operational performance.

We are looking for someone who gets actively involved, identifies problems, makes decisions, drives solutions through to implementation, and takes clear ownership of daily operations — with or without a team.

Your responsibilities will include

Sales \& Commercial Management

Maintain and develop relationships with key customers

Regularly visit existing customers and actively approach potential new customers

Identify new business opportunities and pursue them proactively

Monitor sales performance, margins, and customer profitability

Take active ownership of company and individual objectives

Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales and improve the overall commercial performance of the business

Operations \& Supply Chain

Coordinate and optimize purchasing and inventory management

Identify operational inefficiencies and establish clear and effective processes

Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams

Continuously improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness

Quality Assurance

Coordinate quality\-related issues with suppliers and internal teams and ensure that corrective actions are implemented

Maintain clear quality assurance processes, documentation, and controls

Keep product quality and compliance at the heart of daily operations

Your Profile

We are looking for a commercially strong, hands\-on manager with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You bring

Several years of professional experience in sales, operations, purchasing, logistics, or FMCG

Experience in a management or team\-lead position

Strong commercial understanding and a clear sense of profitability and costs

A hands\-on attitude and willingness to get involved in day\-to\-day operations

Strong organizational and coordination skills

The ability to prioritize, make decisions, and act independently

A high level of ownership, reliability, and accountability

Strong negotiation and communication skills

A structured and analytical approach to work

An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong drive to actively improve the business

Fluent spoken and written German and English
