As an L3 Network Engineer – Datacenter, you will be part of the global Network Services team, focusing on the design, consulting, and rollout of datacenter network solutions across our enterprise landscape.
You will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, shaping the evolution of our datacenter network architecture and supporting global initiatives.
Your main responsibilities
Design and evolve datacenter network architectures for central and location-specific environments
Define and maintain standards for: Core switching and routing
Network segmentation and firewalling
Integration with WAN, cloud, and LAN environments
Drive standardization and simplification across the global network landscape
Provide consulting and technical guidance to: Global and regional network teams
Local IT at site level
Project and rollout teams
Review and validate network designs to ensure alignment with global standards
Support and lead datacenter rollout, migration, and transformation initiatives
Ensure smooth integration into the global network environment
Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in network engineering, ideally with exposure to datacenter environments
Experience in network design within enterprise environments
Solid understanding of networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, routing & switching, firewalls)
Experience working in complex, global infrastructures
Ability to assess and deploy technologies to meet diverse business needs
Basic understanding of ITIL-based service environments
