MECHANICAL ENGINEER

You will serve in a developmental capacity within the Facilities Infrastructure Management Department, providing specialized mechanical engineering support for industrial HVAC, chilled water systems, air compressors, and industrial ventilation.

You will be tasked with increasingly difficult assignments designed to build your proficiency in these core facility disciplines.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, developing and assisting with mechanical engineering projects; Understanding and interpreting specifications, drawings, and mechanical designs; Applying knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, methodologies, and principles, in relation to aircraft processes, facilities, and equipment.
